Calm Speech is a daily companion for people who stutter and stammer. Open it for two minutes or twenty. There’s no programme to finish, no week you’re behind on, and no score at the end.
What’s inside
Five parts, and that’s deliberately all.
01
Daily effort check-in
One small thing to do today, sized to the day you’re actually having. Tick it off and that’s the whole measurement. Nothing asks how it sounded, and nothing is scored afterwards.

Self-paced practice you control
Breathing, pacing, easy onset, prolonged speech and reading, six sessions each. You choose what to open and when to stop. Nothing is assigned and nothing unlocks in sequence.

A private reflection space
Speak it or write it. A daily prompt about a real speaking situation — a call, a meeting, a date — kept entirely to you. Recordings are never analysed.

Progress you feel
Days of showing up, sessions you chose, moments you reflected on. Consistency and effort, shown plainly, with no fluency figure anywhere.

Gentle, optional reminders
Off by default. If you want one, it arrives once, in your own words, and never guilts you for missing yesterday.
What Calm Speech is not
Worth being blunt about, so nobody arrives expecting the wrong thing.
Not a cure
No app can cure stuttering, and we don’t use the word. Fluency isn’t the target.
Not a replacement for an SLP
If you work with a speech-language pathologist, keep working with them. This sits alongside.
Not a fluency tester
Nothing listens to judge you. There is no grading engine in the product.
Works alongside therapy
Calm Speech is not competing with your speech-language pathologist. It fills the gap between appointments, where most of the actual living happens, and it won’t contradict stutter-affirming practice.
Nothing is gated behind a clinician, and nothing in the app tells you a technique is mandatory.
