Calm Speech is a companion, not medical treatment

Calm Speech is a wellbeing and self-management companion for people who stutter and stammer. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and it is not a medical device.

Using the site and app

You may use Calm Speech for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not attempt to break, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the product, and do not use it to harass anyone.

Accounts are personal to you. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

Your content

Reflections, voice notes and anything else you create in the app remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and show that content back to you inside the product. We do not claim ownership, and we do not use it for marketing.

Subscriptions and payment

Free features are free with no time limit. Plus is billed monthly or annually through your app store, and Lifetime is a single payment sold direct. Cancelling a subscription returns you to the free tier rather than locking you out, and app store refund policies apply to purchases made through them.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change as the product develops. If we make a change that materially reduces what you paid for, we will tell you.

Limits on liability

To the extent permitted by law, Calm Speech is provided as-is, and Parel is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without affecting rights you have under the consumer law of your own country. Questions go to legal@calmspeech.com.
